TRIP DETAILS

DAY 1: Arrival at the hotel in Fano.

DAY 2 : Breakfast is followed by a little break in Furlo Gorge . A real paradise marked by the Candigliano River that flows between the towering rock walls of the Gorge, where the suggestive landscape combines with the prodigious wealth of nature boasting unique specimen of flora and fauna. From here, one can proceed towards Urbino, a town that is the pride of Italian Renaissance, and the birthplace of architect Bramante and artist Raffaello. Its Palazzo Ducale, the jewel of Italian Renaissance, which since 1912 is home to the National Gallery of the Marche region. Urbino is also the birthplace of Raffaello and it hosts the Academy of Raffaello, countless churches each of significant importance, as well as the Fortress of Albornoz.

DAY 3: Breakfast following with an extraordinary urban and architectural combination: Gradara. Discover the tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca caught in each other’s arms and killed by Francesca’s hausband.

The tour continues than with another historical town: Mondaino. The cheese makers of the ancient mill welcome you and show you how to make the “Fossa Cheese” (a delicacy of this area) than the experience goes on with a food tasting.A little break in the nearest village of Montegridolfo a little medieval jewel. It is like an open-air museum whose history and architecture are almost too affected and don’t forget to admire the panoramic views that this town offer!

DAY 4: Recharge your energy with a delicious breakfast and go in Mondavio. The fortress is the symbol of the town, then visit the historical workshop where produces the pecorino cheese inside a tuff cave. In the afternoon visit a local winery where an expert will show to you the family company and sip the wine with a taste of the local oil. In this area a wine production is D.O.C. Bianchello del Metauro

DAY 5: Breakfast followed by a visit in one of the most beautiful village in Italy: Corinaldo, a medieval town, as demonstrated by the mighty historical walls and monuments. Away from the town there is an important natural site: The caves of Frasassi . A masterpiece of nature, boast huge stalactites, underground streams and lakes. Open to the public since 1974, the caves have since then attracted more than 10 million tourists. The tour lasts approximately 70 minutes, with the opportunity for enthusiasts and experts to venture into speleological excursions. Continues your wine experience in Morro D’Alba in an old winery-wine estate that produce wine over 150 years. Here you can taste Lacrima di Morro the local wine production. In the evening check-in in the structure in Sirolo.

DAY 6: Breakfast is followed by a visit of the Conero Natural Reserve , which with its natural panoramic views and the unique rocky coast is a wonderful landscape of the Adriatic Coast where you can do hiking activity or a relaxing walking along the paths. In the afternoon a taste of the wine production of this area like Conero and Rosso Conero in a local winery. An expert will guide you in different wine flavours and will show the winery from the vineyards to the cellar where they conserve the production. In the evening arrive in Ascoli Piceno and check-in in 4*stars hotel .

DAY 7: Today you will visit the city of Ascoli, which many call a “volume of art history to consult in the open air”, and there is no doubt it is a display of extraordinary wealth of monuments and styles dating back to different eras. However, Ascoli is also the “town of the hundred towers” and white travertine. This material embellishes the central Piazza del Popolo , an open-air lounge in the historical downtown, which also hosts several jewels of local culture such as the Cathedral. The tour continues in an exclusive location in the historical center where the chef will guide you step by step: which olives to choose, to piy the olives, how to fill them and how to fry.
Of course you will taste your preparation, accompanied by a glass of wine! Before we say goodbye to you, we will give you the printed recipe to take with you.

DAY 8 : Breakfast is followed by a visit to a local traditional pasta workshop in Campofilone the town of the ancient culinary tradition: the “Maccheroncini” of Campofilone. Still today the Company is reproducing the same traditional process to make egg pasta as it was made in the past by the old ladies of the Campofil one village. Here you have the opportunity to learn how to cook this kind of pasta with a local! Follow the cooking show you also have lunch with a food tasting of Maccheroncini. In the afternoon the tour continues to Fermo. The heart of the town is the magnificent Renaissance  Piazza del Popolo , formerly Piazza Grande, where there is the sixteenth century  Palazzo dei Priori where you can find the Municipal Art Gallery , boasting valuable paintings of the Venetian and Marche schools and the "Nativity" by Rubens. Other things to visit are the underground roman pools and the Girfalco hills with its Cathedral… without forget to enjoy the panoramic view over the countryside! Come back to the hotel.

DAY 9: After breakfast you will visit Offida. Walking along the trails that witnessed the birth of the Marche region’s noble wines, one can reach Offida, a picturesque medieval village surrounded by perfectly preserved town walls, dating back to the twelfth century. Among the numerous cultural landmarks of the town, there is certainly the Serpente Aureo Theatre, a true jewel of the Baroque era, housed in the Town Hall. Offida is surrounded by vineyards and here people can enjoy Rosso Piceno Superiore and Offida wines, the youngest DOC wines in the area. In the afternoon a visit of a local winery where you can taste the Rosso Piceno and local wine production. You will visit the vineyards and cellar where the wine is conserved, followed by a food tasting with typical products. Go back to the hotel. 

DAY 10: Breakfast. End of services.



ON REQUEST: Transfer and transports (hire car driver, car rental, coach car rental), organize guided tours, request tour leader on site, book meals in local restaurants, to extend tour with other experiences like trekking activity and sailboat tours in Conero Coast and other experiences like yoga and hiking.
