LOCATION
It is a beautiful villa with pool about 4 km from the center of Mogliano, a delightful village in the hinterland of Marche. Mogliano, known for its flourishing wicker and leather craftsmanship, is surrounded by olive groves that decorate the surrounding landscape and still retains some of the ancient walls and rocks. The medieval fortress, of which only the bastions remain, is the best place from wich admire the panorama; Inside there is the church of Santa Maria del Suffragio, currently disenchanted, built in 1698. From the fort you can admire the former S. Michele hospital built in 1782 and the Carpathia, a Liberty-style complex, now Restored and reconverted to exhibition space. Almost at the end of Via Roma, a street that crosses the historic center and enters the main square, Piazza Garibaldi, stands the most important building in Mogliano, today the seat of the Town Hall: Palazzo Forti.
